GOLDEN GLOBES

It's that time of the year again! Get ready for award season! I'm not one to watch the entire Golden Globes or Emmy's, but I do however tune in to watch celebrities walk the red carpet just to see what they are wearing.
Here were my Top 4 Picks:

Mila Kunis- As always, she looks like a goddess. I thought the bead work and sequins were beautiful how they faded into the dress and everything about this looked polished!
Reese Witherspoon- Sure it's simple, but this color really stood out. I just adored this shade on Reese's light complexion. This classic silhouette showed off her figure perfectly!
Kate Beckinsale- There was a whole lot of black on the carpet. But to separate herself from the crowd, Kate's dress was embellished with stunning bead work that made her shine!
Lupita Nyong- Can you say gorgeous? I loved this color on her, and just the structured clean cut made her look so pulled together and elegant without trying too hard.

HEY JUNE

I am becoming a little anxious for summer to begin. We haven't exactly received the greatest weather as of yet (rain and more rain!), so I do have my fingers crossed that June will be our month for beautiful warm forecasts! It hasn't been warm enough for shorts, skirts or even dresses. These are things I look forward to most after spending over 6 months hibernating in winter clothes.

On that note, I have been making the most of my outfits to not reflect the gloom outside. Add color to your life by getting pairs of colored pants (shown above) and roll up the bottoms when it does get warmer throughout the day. A rolled up pant cuff with some cute jeweled sandals, paired with a light sheer blouse or patterned tee instantly adds chic to your look! And let's not forget a statement necklace in a fun color to pull it all together, I am a jewelry lover after all. If you're not one for big necklaces, you can also easily add colorful mixed bangles, statement rings or a pair of bright dangle earrings to your look.

As for beauty, let's face it, we don't all have time to spend forever putting on makeup. You want to make the most of your summer and enjoy being outside right? So I'm going to share with you a few of my favorites of the moment that will make you look put together in no time.

I hope animal print never goes out of style. I have always been obsessed with leopard prints for two reasons: it's timeless and fun.

For myself, it's a no brainer, I will add animal print accessories to an outfit of any colour (it's like a neutral for me) and it updates your look instantly! What do you think? What's your go-to pattern or color?

I am loving what Spring-Summer 2013 has in store for us when it comes to the trends we're seeing in fashion lately. It makes me even more excited for summer to arrive! All these warm colours like chili reds, canary yellow, metallic golds, and vibrant greens are being splashed onto everything!

On the runways we're seeing a lot of wild-tropical patterns from designers such as Duro Olowu, Bebe, Probal Gurung and Michael Kors. Also trending: pastels, dramatic ruffles, sheer silks and mod contrast prints from designers like Miu Miu, DVF, Chanel & Marc Jacobs to name a few.
